Korean Kosher Cooking Event

A special event was held at the North Shore Synagogue located in Linfield at 4-6 pm on Sunday, March 27th. This event was held in a synagogue unfamiliar to us under the theme of ‘Closer, in Diversity’ to make kimchi and kimbap representing Korea together with other communities. The event was co-organized by Linfield's Jewish Synagogue (Lead Rabbi Paul Lewin) and the Israel Institute of Australia (CEO Won-Il Jung). Jews and children from the synagogue and community participated, and the Korean community and volunteers prepared it together. It was a friendly and pleasant time from the beginning to the end, as the participants who did not know each other's culture expected curiosity and fun.
